General membership meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. WGMS monthly meetings and Saturday classes Westside Community Church,
1937 Lakeville Road, Apopka, in their portable classroom building. Each meeting includes a
demonstration or discussion of a topic in the field of rocks, minerals, lapidary or jewelry making.
Our Purpose is to stimulate interest and educate people in the collection, study, classification, and preservation of mineral and gem specimens.
To disseminate knowledge of lapidary work.
To encourage and facilitate improvement in the lapidary arts, silversmithing, and other related arts.
