Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce & Small World Solutions’ Diversity and Inclusion Seminar Series
DescriptionJoin us for an exclusive series designed for our Chamber members
The Apopka area is more diverse than you think! According to the U.S. Census Bureau, our community is 43 percent Caucasian, 28 percent Hispanic and 24 percent African-American. That's a significant. And if you do not understand the rich tapestry of diverse communities and peoples in the Apopka area, your business will be missing significant opportunities.
Over the past few months, your Chamber has been working to find ways to help your business and our community. We've had a group of volunteers form the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and today we're launching one of the first initiatives of our chamber to significantly build and empower all of the communities that make up the Apopka area.
Starting on March 25, we're launching a new five-part series to help businesses become more diverse and culturally-astute. Led by Apopka Chamber member Small World Solutions, this five-part series will be essential for the future of your company.
The series includes:
- Introduction and Background to Diversity and Inclusion Aspects
- Strategic Planning for Addressing D and I Aspects
- Opportunities and Aspirations
- Results tied into the Grand Statement
The five-part series is valued at more than $1,300 if you were to bring this to your organization.
With our partnership, it only costs you $60!
