The Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce is very excited to announce that we will be launching a brand-new website soon. This new website will have a modern look along with interactive member pages that will allow for you to create job postings, view member-to-member deals, stay up to date with upcoming community and chamber events and learn more about the Apopka area.
As we get closer to our live date, we'll be scheduling a time frame to educate our members on how you can best promote your business through our new website.

Business After Hours - Hosted by
UCF Business Incubator

The Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce hosted July's Business After Hours on July 26th, at the UCF Business Incubator in Apopka.
This awesome evening of fellowship and networking included plenty of food and refreshments from several Chamber members including Marco's Pizza, Sus Hi Eatstation, Beef 'O' Brady's and Something Fishy. Plus, this was a fantastic opportunity to reach new and returning chamber members, all in one exciting evening! Finally, we want to thank Orange County Commissioner Rod Love for joining us!
Business After Hours is one of the two complimentary opportunities each month (a total of 24 free opportunities throughout the year), that is included as part of your membership.
We look forward to seeing each of you at our next B.A.H. that will be hosted by the Sams's Club in Apopka on Thursday, August 30, 2018.

On Friday, July 27th, we celebrated the last day of our Apopka Youth Works intern, Jackie Baez-Lloyd. Jackie was a fantastic addition to our office over the past few months and we wish her the best of luck as she begins college soon!
Apopka Youth Works is a partnership between the City of Apopka and CareerSource Central Florida that provides Apopka-area high school juniors and seniors a unique opportunity to explore a variety of rewarding careers in the Apopka area.
Plus, it prepares young people for their first entry into the workplace by teaming them up with local businesses that will guide them through a summer of fulfilling and educational employment.

Our Chamber is growing everyday! On July 17th, we were thrilled to welcome several of our newest members at our New Member Orientation! Our New Member Orientations are a unique opportunity for us to update each of our members on the newest benefits that we have to offer.
Plus we were ecstatic to have several of our Ambassadors join us including Cory Miller , Betty Jankun , Kathy Hopper , Leanne Fleischer and Charlie Goodwin!
