    Pay Rate: $16-$32/hr


    Must be available to work a rotating schedule for 24/7/365 coverage, 5 week rotational schedule, typically 3 weekends off every 5 weeks, there are times when additional days off of 5 consecutive or 3 consecutive days off, 12 hour shifts on weekends. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study from an accredited college or university •Minimum of four (4) years of experience in data processing, monitoring, network, and operating systems. Combined experience may include: ?Batch processing monitoring of a 24x7 job run schedule ?IT Security Investigations ?Quality Assurance testing ?Network monitoring ?Troubleshooting and resolving IT performance issues ?Incident management of IT tier1/2 issues ?Scripting and automation of processes •Eight (8) additional years of relevant experience OR an Associate’s Degree and four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be considered as a substitution for the Bachelor’s Degree requirement •Working knowledge of all, but not limited to the following: ?Reviewing software and job logs for errors processing and resolution ?Ability to read/interpret a variety of scripts (Perl/Batch/Powershell/Shell/Java) ?Creating and using technical documentation, attention to detail is a must. ?Shift turnover procedures, effective communication of issues encountered is a must. ?Redhat Linux, Unix shell experience a plus, Bash, K shell, ksh, tsch, zsh ?Windows 8/10 – Including but not limited to administrator tools, command prompt, registry editor (regedit), event viewer, performance monitor and basic networking transport control protocol/internet provider (tcp/ip). ?Enterprise Scheduler Monitoring (prefer BMC’s Control-M but CA7, UCC4, Cron jobs/Windows task scheduler also ok ?Security monitoring tools such as Websense, Trend Micro ?Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook/Access/OneNote •Familiarity with: o Database Applications (i.e, Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) for a Customer Information System; MDM – meter data management (Oracle); o Windows Active Directory and Distributed File Systems (dfs) o Local directory access protocol (LDAP) o File encryption standards (pgp/aes/ssl) · Effective verbal and written communication skills 

    Job Purpose:
    85% of this position is running and monitoring the 24x7x365 job run schedule for enterprise involving enterprise scheduler, ftp's with 15% monitoring infrastructure this ensures that critical business applications are operational and the health of the OUC infrastructure is not compromised. Serve as a 24x7x365 operations team member. Person will train on 1st Shift; and work shift will rotate after that and consist primarily of 2nd/3rd shift and weekend/holidays. Ability to be flexible and very detail oriented is key to success.
    Primary Functions:
    -Monitor and verify production batch jobs, Enterprise scheduler job and file transfers; analyze FTP logs, troubleshoot problems, cancel/ rerun new batch jobs, and ensure the 24 hours job process SLA’s are met
    -Test new hardware/ software and new business processes in test/ dev/ UAT environments before production; maintain testing turnover for major projects, as required
    - Create and maintain documentation, shift turnover and event turnover for the team and other IT partners - Provide peer review and technical oversight over data center 24 hour processes schedules
    - Perform and maintain analysis to support enterprise health reporting
    - Mentor junior or other members of operations to enhance their understanding and abilities to support production processes
